How Your Data is Stored
Your personal data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers that store your personal information. Your subscription status is managed entirely through Apple's App Store infrastructure.
AI Coach Conversations
When you use the AI Coach feature, your messages are sent to our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. These conversations are processed in real-time and are not stored on external servers after the session ends. Conversation history is stored locally on your device.
Analytics
We use Mixpanel, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve the experience. The analytics data is anonymous and includes:
- App usage events (screens viewed, features used)
- Onboarding completion rates
- General engagement patterns
This data cannot identify you personally and is not linked to your journal entries, check-ins, or other personal content.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
- We do not track your location
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
Data Security
Since your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We recommend keeping your device secure to protect your personal information.
Your Rights
You can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling removes all information from your device.
Children's Privacy
Return is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
